Riverbank Sentry

The Grey Heron in one of its favourite positions standing at the side of the river watching the World go by. This one wasn't fishing, but just taking it easy in the morning sun.

  4. Lethargy or contentment? Is it bored with life, and just can't be bothered or is it resting and digesting after a bountiful spell of early morning fishing?
Whichever it is Roy, you've done an excellent job of capturing the 'mood' in these two images...[;o)
