  1. Great set of images Roy, They show how beautiful the birds that live in our back gardens are, most people don't notice them or even bother to give them a second glance!...[;o)

    1. Thanks Trevor, yes before we know it some will get really scarce as well.

  2. They're lovely Roy. They may be 'common' but they are definitely favourites and as Trevor said all too often overlooked. Having said that I don't see Nuthatches regularly at all and am very envious of your photo, I have only ever managed a poor record shot!

    1. Thanks Jan.
I am lucky with Nuthatches having observed them in a certain woodland area for several years now.

  3. Hey Roy..Not sure who Dick Turpin is, but I know that the masked Nuthatch is one of my favorite feeder visitors..if fact he is here right now having a suet feast!
I think this is the first photos of the Robin I have seen standing tall and at attention, : )!! Second one of the Blue Tit is a cutie!!

  4. These birds are so nice. The pictures are great, sharpness, colour, everyting looks very, very good.
Blue tit and Robin are two of my favourites as well. These birds are what I always say: lovely, little and cute.

  5. I particularly like the Blue Tit. They have that same sweet look that our Chickadees and Titmice have. I don't think the "masked robber" has a very effective disguise :-) Your Robin is so different from ours and very pretty. Let's hope the "common" birds never go away! What a loss it would be for the world.

    1. Thanks Mary, unfortunately some bird numbers appear to be decreasing, but then others quite the opposite.??
